Unsexed slings
A brightly colored species originating from Colombia. This species was given the common name of "pumpkin patch tarantula" due to it's orange coloration. Often called a dwarf species, but really more like a small species, these can get up to around 4" or so. Slings do start very small, at around 3/16" but they do gain size relatively quickly, and an added bonus, they have the same distinct color and patterns all the way from sling to adult, so with this species you don't have to wait for it to grow up to appreciate that adult coloration.

However there is another Different species which is similar that has a very similar name. Hapalopus sp Colombia small or Hapalopus sp. Colombia Klein.
