Quirogai is so similar to Grammostola, that i am simply putting the pulchra description below. the primary difference is that quirogqi is from Uruguay rather than Brazil.
Grammostola will always be a classic. With adult color of charcoal black and the "puppy dog" level of docility, this is a sought after species by newbie and seasoned keepers alike. Like most of the Grammostola genus, pulchra is a VERY slow growing species, and can take many years to grow to adult hood, which means that you will be able to enjoy the company of your little 8 legged friend for a very, very long time, regardless of the sex. Pulchra is a species native to Brazil, and because of that, importation of the species from outside of the country is no longer allowed, so they have become much less available, but even despite that and the difficulties of breeding them, this species is so adored that it will never go away completely.
