Unsexed slings
Pamphobeteus sp. "Plattyoma" is a large species of terrestrial tarantula from Ecuador. As is typical for Pampho. species from Ecuador, the slings have the "Christmas Tree" pattern on the abdomen. Adults can easily reach 7-8" with females being mostly dark blacks with purple accent after a molt, and males turning almost fully purple upon maturity. (see images for MM reference)
We keep our Pamphobeteus with more moisture/humidity as they are from a more tropical habitat. They generally have rather large appetites, and will usually grow quite well as slings.
